THE MANIFESTO

01obviously

RECORDS ARE FOR PLAYING

Not for filing away in plastic sleeves. Everything we sell is priced to go home and spin.

02the weirder the better

ECLECTIC BEATS EVERYTHING

Rock next to ska next to jazz next to something you cannot categorise. That is the point.

03yes, every single one

CLEAN IT, TEST IT, GRADE IT

Every record gets the full ritual before it earns a place on the stall. No exceptions and no excuses.

04fair both ways

PAY FAIRLY, PRICE FAIRLY

We buy collections locally at honest money and pass every single one on the same fair way.

If it doesn't matter, we don't sell it.

TWO NAMES,
ONE OBSESSION

What started as a bit of a hobby became our passion. We are Merrill and Pete, sharing our love of music from a stall in our home city, one reasonably priced record at a time.

Our taste is very eclectic on purpose. Rock, soul, ska, jazz, folk, pop, oddities: if it matters to someone, it earns a place on the stall.

EVERY RECORD EARNS
ITS PLACE

Nothing goes out without the ritual: a proper clean, a full play test and an honest grade for both the media and the sleeve. If a record does not play like it should, it does not travel to the market.

Got a collection sitting unplayed in the attic or the garden shed? Buy a record player, or offer it to us. We are happy to collect locally and we pay fairly.
